Introducing
“Next-Door Marketing”
They say there is nothing new in the car business, and they may be correct. Dealers have tried all kinds of advertising looking for the sweet-spot with creating advertising or an easy way to attract buyers. Being in the car business over 45 years has its appeal, it gives one the ability to look back and review what really works and what really didn’t.  It’s like playing Monday morning quarterback asking why profits have just slipped away.

In these economic times looking back gives insight on our future.  For example, we do know that when we sell a car in a neighborhood there seems to be more new vehicles driving around in that same neighborhood in a very short period of time. The reason is simple . . . it is the old adage “Birds of a Feather Flock Together” concept. When a house is repainted, or someone adds landscaping it seems as though change starts to happen in the neighborhood.

Selling vehicles in one neighborhood has what is called “Garage Envy”, wanting what your neighbor has or in our case, driving a new more modern vehicle. Until now developing the “Neighborhood Marketing Idea” was time consuming and certainly not easy to do.  Ask any of your salespeople to write and send letters to neighbors of sold customers is like asking them to set an appointment to see a Dentist. It won’t happen, but we do know this is the most fertile marketing area based on what is called that “Garage Envy” concept.

Introducing . . . “NextDoor Marketing”

A long name with a happy result, more sales. Today customers are influenced by direct media, the internet and shopping for new transportation is not on top of their priority list. What hasn’t changed is influence of social networking, Facebook is one example. Next-Door Marketing is a live Facebook developing a social concept influenced by others already driving a new, more modern vehicle. We blend social media with Next-Door Marketing to increase your prospecting base by 500%.

I have enclosed a mini brochure for review. We drive new business into a dealership using a neighbor to neighbor influence program. One sale delivers a hand-delivered message to 20 neighbors in the same neighborhood. 50 sales equal 1,000 hand-delivered messages.

I will be happy to visit your dealership and review the program with examples of how to bring unique buyers into the dealership every month, month after month. There is no obligation and I will present our process in detail. You can also call me direct and I can even present the processing by internet on a “GO TO MEETING”. The car business is not dead, there are people wanting to change what they are driving, and we can bring this untapped influence to trigger that change.
